The treatment of fungal and bacterial plant diseases

Specific microbes included in the BioGreen+ matrix have genes which code for the production of specific chemical compounds including: enzymes, antibiotics, and RNA messenger signals of various kinds. Some of these chemicals are uniquely applicable to the treatment of Citrus Greening, along with other fungal and bacterial plant diseases. Case Study Example

One way to convey BioGreen+’s diversity of applicability in an array of industrial sectors and the effectiveness of the component microbes is the example that follows:

The following wastewater pond sludge biological mining was performed at the Graton Community Services District in response to a FEMA Cal EMA project. In 2006 the Graton Wastewater treatment facilities were inundated by flood waters completely submerging the entire plant and ponds with water from Atascadero Creek. These waters deposited large amounts of inert sediment in the ponds which had not been dredged in about 35 years and already contained several feet of organic and inorganic sediment. FEMA was willing to pay for the sediment deposited by the flood but not the organic accumulation that preexisted the flood. In order to proceed, I donated the use of a White Knight and IOS-500 bacteria to the District. It took two weeks for the flood waters to be removed and another month to biologically dredge the organic sediments in preparation for Synagro to dredge and press the remaining inorganic sediment under the FEMA Cal EMA Project. The inorganic dredging cost in excess of $650,000 to remove about 4 feet of sludge. The biological dredging cost the district almost nothing to operate the two trash pumps and the donated IOS-500 bacteria and White Knight Microbial Inoculator Generator.
